Moon Knight
WOOOOO! First Thread!
Hi there (echos)...
Well, we'll get some members eventually. Once they're on clearance.
I'm Jason Abbadon and I customize Marvel Universe characters and the killer robots that try to exterminate them.
I hope to share how to tips and learn a few as well but mostly I hope this place becomes a resource for customizers making MU customs- an archive of recipies for each character that can be added to as new customizers make their own builds.
For example, i'm making the MU Psylocke look like she's supposed to, instead of wht they sold us. The breakdown is:
PSYLOCKE
Head: Jarael from Star Wars comi two-pack (useing a cast of that head)
Body: MU Psylocke
Tweaks: replacing the leg straps with cust black electrical tape and painting her costume matte black for her X-Force look.
If we can establish a format like this (with pics, obviously) for posted customs I think it would make this site exceptional- and we could even make an alphabetical directory of recipies and their authors.
But that's just ideas for now...I'll post in some builds to get the ball rolling.
MOON KNIGHT
Head: Black Panther (ears sanded down)
Body: Steve Rogers
Costume: Zartan hood, ROC Storm Shadow arm bracers, MU Moon Knight cape and belt
Tweaks: Sheet styrene added to the front of Seve Rogers shin guards
Comparison with MU version:

Re: Moon Knight
Those boots are my favorite part. And good work with the gloves/gauntlets.

Re: Moon Knight
Thanks guys- I've got a TON of new stuff to share- hopefully I'll throw down some pics tomorrow.
On Moon Knight, he's got a primer coat of Colorbond automotive paint- realy, I use it on all my customs now- it's made to adhere and dry on vinyl and plastic, actually bonding to the plastic instead of just sticking to the surface.
Stuff kicks ass, dries perfect on anything, even rubberized stuff like Black Widow's belt or soft stuff like Mistique's skirt.
Over that is just Krylon Plus white. Easy peasy way to make a good Moonie.
Do we have a "how to" or "Tips and tricks" section? I love hearing what works for others and trying it out for myself.
